Ice has a variety of scientifically interesting features, some of which have not been reasonably interpreted despite substantial efforts by researchers. Most chemical studies of ice have focused on the elucidation of its physicochemical nature and its roles in the natural environment. Ice often contains impurities, such as salts, and in such cases, a liquid phase coexists with solid ice over a wide temperature range. This impure ice also acts as a cryoreactor, governing the circulation of chemical species of environmental importance. Reactions and phenomena occurring in this liquid phase show features different from those seen in normal bulk aqueous solutions. In the present account, we discuss the chemical characteristics of the liquid phase that develops in a frozen aqueous phase and show how novel analytical systems can be designed based on he features of the liquid phase which are predictable in some cases but unpredictable in others.  相似文献

We consider a transmission problem consisting of two semilinear parabolic equations involving fractional diffusion operators of different orders in a general non-smooth setting with emphasis on Lipschitz interfaces and transmission conditions along the interface. In this paper, we investigate the existence and multiplicity of harmonic and subharmonic solutions for second‐order quasilinear equation where , g satisfies the superlinear condition at infinity. We prove that the given equation possesses harmonic and subharmonic solutions by using the phase‐plane analysis methods and a generalized version of the Poincaré‐Birkhoff twist theorem.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a new integrable equation called Mbius-Toda equation which is a generalization of q-Toda equation. Meanwhile its soliton solutions are constructed to show its integrable property. Further the Lax pairs of the Mbius-Toda equation and a whole integrable Mbius-Toda hierarchy are also constructed. To show the integrability, the bi-Hamiltonian structure and tau symmetry of the Mbius-Toda hierarchy are given and this leads to the existence of the tau function.  相似文献

Abstract

Certain notions of approximate weak efficient solutions are considered for a set-valued optimization problem based on vector and set criteria approaches. For approximate solutions based on the vector approach, a characterization is provided in terms of an extended Gerstewitz’s function. For the set approach case, two notions of approximate weak efficient solutions are introduced using a lower and an upper quasi order relations for sets and further compactness and stability aspects are discussed for these approximate solutions. Existence and scalarization using a generalized Gerstewitz’s function are also established for approximate solutions, based on the lower set order relation.  相似文献

As a first step towards the numerical analysis of the stochastic primitive equations of the atmosphere and the oceans,the time discretization of these equations by an implicit Euler scheme is studied.From the deterministic point of view,the 3D primitive equations are studied in their full form on a general domain and with physically realistic boundary conditions.From the probabilistic viewpoint,this paper deals with a wide class of nonlinear,state dependent,white noise forcings which may be interpreted in either the It6 or the Stratonovich sense.The proof of convergence of the Euler scheme,which is carried out within an abstract framework,covers the equations for the oceans,the atmosphere,the coupled oceanic-atmospheric system as well as other related geophysical equations.The authors obtain the existence of solutions which are weak in both the PDE and probabilistic sense,a result which is new by itself to the best of our knowledge.  相似文献
